Introducing POD

I would like to announce a new class of content to be featured on this blog. This is currently and uncreatively named "POD" - which might stand for Picture of the Day. The benefit of an ambiguous title means that multiple interpretations can be made: Pittsburgh/Portland On Display, Pictoral Over-Doses, etc. Feel free to submit your own suggestions.

POD works as follows. From time to time, featured pictures will be posted which I hope are pleasing or interesting to view; the subject matter ranges widely, but will have a strong emphasis on my most common subjects: roads, bridges, and urban landscapes. All pictures are copyright hiway99er, all rights reserved; conditional use may be obtained by contacting the author.
